Calling all ladies and girls, it’s time to celebrate! Along with its honorific as Women’s History Month, 8 March is also when International Women’s Day falls every year. As the saying goes, “a woman is like a teabag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” This special day recognizes all the mothers, grandmothers, friends and other strong women who make a difference in our lives every day.
